Shareholders at the extraordinary general meeting of Scandinavian Biogas AB today resolved in accordance with a decision made by principal owners to elect Göran Persson, former Swedish prime minister, as the new chairman of the board and Orri Hauksson, Fredrik Danielsson, Raif Nisametdin and Anders Bengtsson as new ordinary board members as well as Jonas Bengtsson as alternate board member. Anders Wijkman and Phil Metcalfe remain. Furthermore, a proposal to implement a rights issue for existing shareholders was approved.
In conjunction with the recomposition of the board, Erik Danielsson and Gert Schyborger have elected to leave the board. The mandate period of the new board is in force until the end of the next annual general meeting. Erik Danielsson will take on the function as honorary chairman of the company.
Shareholders at the meeting also approved the proposed SEK 70 million rights issue, the majority of which is guaranteed.
